One of the main architectural elements that I couldn’t seem to get away from in Porto/Gaia Portugal was this famous old bridge. It’s positioning next to the Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar made it fairly difficult to ignore. Not that I wanted to ignore it, it is a beautiful bridge, especially during the fringes of the day.
This is an infrared, black and white photo. I’ve shared a fair number of infrared photos on Instagram, at some point I’d like to put a post together about infrared photography and what a modern-day infrared photography workflow looks like.
